2000x sweeter than sugar and a natural plant extract. Talin (thaumatin) is produced from a rain forrest plant where it is cultivated by hand and the protein is extracted to form the thaumatin. This natural protein sweetener is then used in a wide variety of food processes and has worked its way into the fishing trade.
