Cork Dust
The correct grade of cork dust to make perfect pop-ups and wafters with your own base mix.
To create perfect popups mix 1 part cork dust with 2 parts base mix. We advise you add 10% egg albumen or blood plasma powder to aid binding and firming of the finished baits.
To create wafters use 1 part cork dust to 3 parts base mix, this is a guide which you may have to modify to suit your particular base mix.
Gently simmer for 2 mins and then dry for 24-48hrs to remove any moisture.
The best way to present cork dust popups or wafters is to mount them using tie them on with bait floss.
You will end up with perfect popups or wafters which will not let you down.
